My name is Susan but I prefer to be called Susie. I have been in the care industry for over 5 years and I am extremely passionate about helping and enabling others to maintain as much independence as possible and to achieve their dreams. After nursing my mother through Alzheimers, I make it my business to care for others the way I would have taken care of my mother. I am very experienced in caring for people with Alzheimers/Dementia, Learning difficulties, Autism spectrum disorders, Bi Polar, traumatic Brain disorders, eating disorders to name but a few. The biggest attribute I have is that I am very positive and Always have a smile on my face. I am kind, caring, empathetic and love to make others feel Happy. Outside of work, I really love Dogs and have a Beautiful King Charles Cavalier. I believe that dogs can really help us with so many different conditions, especially anxiety. I have my own car which makes getting around to and with clients much easier. I am a fully skilled carer and can provide assistance with personal care, bathing, toileting, dressing, housework, cooking, accompanying to appointments and of course companionship.
